✨DAY ONE — PROJECT AEROSPACE BEGINS 🚀
Electrical to Aerospace: Why Failing JEE Advanced Didn’t Stop Me
Today is Day One.
Not of college. Not of a new routine. But of my mission.
When I didn’t clear JEE Advanced, I felt the sting. I won’t pretend I didn’t.
But I also didn’t stop. I didn’t cry for long. I didn’t beg life for a redo.
Instead, I made a new blueprint.
I chose Electrical Engineering via MHT-CET — not as a backup, but as a battlefield.
Because my aim is still IIT. My goal is still Aerospace. And my fire is now hotter than ever.
This blog? It’s not just a post.
It’s the first footprint of a journey that won’t just reach space — it’ll reshape it.
The Shift – From Aerospace to Electrical
I always had my eyes set on Aerospace Engineering — the engines, the orbits, the thrill of precision. But government colleges through MHT-CET don’t offer AE.
So I pivoted. I chose Electrical Engineering not as a compromise, but as a launchpad.
Electric propulsion, control systems, avionics — it all connects. And it all matters in aerospace.
The Preparation Begins
While most wait for college to begin, I started early.
Currently, I’m working on:
-
NPTEL lectures to build strong fundamentals in circuits and systems
-
Python, because control systems, simulations, and modeling demand code
-
TinkerCAD and SolidWorks, so that I can design and simulate even in my first year
-
And yes, I’ve begun the first steps of GATE preparation too
I’m building my arsenal — for projects, internships, and a seat in a top IIT for MTech in Aerospace.
The Vision Ahead
This is not about revenge on a failed exam.
It’s about using every step with intention.
MTech from an IIT isn’t a question of “if” for me — it’s “when.”
And when that moment comes, I won’t be a beginner. I’ll be ready with skills, vision, and experience.
Conclusion – For Anyone Who Feels Like It’s Over
Your first dream doesn’t have to be your last shot.
There’s a path to greatness through every stream — if you’re willing to build, adapt, and work.
"It’s quiet tonight. But in this silence, something loud has begun — my mission to rise from failure and reach the sky. "
